Artist History JRS was formed in 1996 as a vehicle for solo releases by Jeffrey Ryan Smoots. The first JRS album, entitled "Wings of Gold", was recorded in 1997-98 and subsequently distributed by Moonchild Records. The latest release from JRS is an album of progressive electronica, entitled "Spank Your Inner Child".
