Artist description eyes see red is a Switzerland-based band inspired by the upheaval of American Death Metal in the early nineties. Our goal is to transport the spirit of these years into the next millenium. Thus, while our style (riffs, vocals) is obviously reminiscend of such classics as "Retribution" or "Epidemic of Violence", we attempt to rethink the structures of DM. What made this music great is its deconstructive nature, and we can only preserve that by constantly tearing down what others (and we ourselves) have built. And while we're at it, we might as well have some fun, right?

Artist History Arisen from the ashes of old-school hardcore band Last Warning, eyes see red was formed in late 1996 with the intention to make more complex music while retaining the primal energy of our old stuff. We soon recorded a 9-song demo tape which sports an awful production and music that has always been described as "old school" by our peers. We have since worked hard on our song writing and played a number of well-received shows. Hopefully the experience shows in our latest effort, the 38-Minute CD "Embrace It"
