Artist History
Delightfully Strange is a four-piece rock/alternative, original and cover band from Columbus, OH. The band was formed in the Summer of 1994 while the majority of the band was still in High School, and has since become a local favorite to many while generating a large following in and around the Columbus music scene.The band has released two full length CD's entitled "NickelCaffeine" (1996) and "Sideshows and Caravans" (1998). The band is currently working on new material for their third full length CD due out sometime in 2001(hopefully). Since 1994, the band has performed weekly at local and regional venues. Delightfully Strange have headlined numerous shows as well as opened for many well knownnational acts. Delightfully Strange have performed with such names as The Nixons, Candlebox, Everclear, Spacehog, Creed, Tracy Bonham, Outcry and Brother Cane. The band has recently picked up their newest member, Nathan Hartley on bass guitar and vocals. As the band re-defines their sound with new material while still playing some of their older favorites, the future is looking bright forDelightfully Strange! |
