Artist History
The band started with 2 members in 1982. Carey Jones, and Mike Tipton. Carey had the country influence, while Mike was purely rock. They blended their styles and voices to come up with the current style of music..Buster Neal started playing with Way Station in 1983 as drummer. Mike Tipton's son Matt Tipton played on the album as a paid bass player. He had played with the band on several ocassions and was familiar with the songs. Chad Coursey played fiddle and was a paid musician on the album. The band played for charity groups such as Toys for Tots. Songfest in Paris, Texas..Blues Jam in Paris, Texas, and numerous public activities. |
