Artist description
The Beethoven Concerto "Emperor" was recorded in March 2001 in the famous studio No.5 in Moscow. Dimitry Jablosky was conducting the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. The Brahms recordings were made during our live performance in the Taipei National Concert Hall in 1995. I was playing the Strad "The Pawle" for the first time. During the concert we felt the typical up and down of condition and mood. But after we listened to the material we decided to release it. The concert atmosphere is very much to hear in these tracks. Unfortunately we have to split the whole concert recording into single pieces to match the technical demnad of mp3. People who send me reviews on this release said that it really has this live touch. The music is alive. There is nothing manipulated with this recording than to add some accustic. |
