Artist History Formed in 1912, around the time the internet was first invented. Malignant was the first rapper in the world, and he was not well received. He died in 1956, but then was resurrected with the help of black magic into the body of Jason Ibarra. Jason wanted to be original, so he added the "HL" onto the end of Malignant.
