Artist History
I guess it all began back about 1981. I began writing poems in school to help pass the time during lectures! It wasn't until I saw a kid named Bill Galetka playing a guitar that I realized what I wanted to do! That was in 1986. In the spring of 1987, my cousin, Jeff Krisik, and myself, decided that we would cut some trees and sell the logs to get some money to buy a guitar and a drum machine. Jeff Krisik was killed in a car crash on Dec. 1 1989, but he lives on in the hearts and minds of the people whose lives he touched during his short time on this earth. He was the one who pushed me to pursue my musical dream and he will not be forgotten! Of course my first five attempts at being in bands didn't work out so I decided to work on my music by myself and so that is how it has been for about six years or so. Of course, when you make music by yourself you get to fight with machines instead of people. Although I miss playing with real people, I feel that I would never have gotten to my own vision of music had I continued to play in "other peoples bands". And although I am not the worlds best singer or musician, at least I can say that everything on this page was created by me. |
