Artist description This days the ELETRIKA band is working in the studio mastering the first CD, which will be on the stores on May. Besides their own compositions, well known by the Brazilian audience, these CD will bring new versions of some known top hits like: "Eu sou terrível" ("I'm terrible"), "Like a Locomotion", and "O homem que sabia demais" ("The man who knew too much").The outstanding song "Todas as Bocas" ("Every mouth") has been used, with it's contagious rhythm and melody, in a huge publicity campaign of Shopping Centers' sales, while the "Motocross World Championship Theme", was composed and played by the band specially for the Grand Prix of Brazil. After the release of the CD, the band intents to invest in a strong publicity campaign, which will include a huge party, the participation on a lot of radio and television programs', video clips, and, of course, a lot of performances. After all, ELETRIKA is a stage band. All the experiments, effects, loops, new sounds, innovations and futurist moods are perfectly reproduced live. Artist History The ELETRIKA band is standing out on the Brazilian's musical scene, with sold out performances and a large exhibition on the FM radios. Songs like "Tô sem grana" (I'm short of cash), "O homem que sabia demais" (The man who knew too much), "Pode" (You may) and "Todas as bocas" (Every mouth) are showing up to public and to musical critics all the great potential of the band. The proposal is to present a brand-new sound, rich in electronic elements, dancing beats, strong choruses and intelligent lyrics. But nothing came easy. Although a very young group, the ELETRIKA band is composed by musicians who bring along their lives a very big baggage - years of dedication to a common passion: the music.

Group Members Wille (vocal) was the singer of the "Queen Express" band, one of most competent cover's band of the world. From this experience comes his charismatic and relaxed performance on the stage, singing and dancing as if he was in a party, surrounded by friends.Rogério Vaz (guitar) has shown his musical versatility playing in a lot of different styles, always in famous bands as "Easy Rider", "Jambalaya" and "Dog Marley". "Pepeu" how he's called by his friends, has been very successful in all his musical journeys. Two of "Easy Rider's" songs have even been in the soundtrack of major TV Globo's programs.Cláudio David (guitar) was, for fifteen years, guitar player, composer, lyricist, producer and leader of the heavy metal band called "Overdose". He played with this band on more than 500 (five hundred) shows in EUA and Europe in 5 years of international career, with three of it's seven albums released worldwide.Marcão (baixo), has played in practically every night club and bars in Belo Horizonte city. His musical knowledge is also used to teach musical theory in the best musical school of town: "Pro-Music School".Marcelo (bateria) owner of a strong and tight beat, has played in some of Minas Gerais' most important bands, like "Carne Crua" and "Easy Rider". The lyrics played by the ELETRIKA band (written together with the poet Charles Leão), are something else. With a rare intelligence and sensibility, expressed with easy verses the tricky situations of the every day life.
