Artist History
Dreams of a Somnabulist started in 2000 as an electronic side project of Kasee Disgruntld after his band The S.I.T.H.s broke up. The first album "Rose Colored Glasses" (July 2000) was recorded with several over dubs and various drum machines & processors. After composing this music solo for about a year, Chad Kesegi joined as a Bass Player, it made more live shows possible. So the two of them developed a band with a guitar, bass and drum machine, and they recorded "A Cold Day in Savannah" (March 2001). "A Cold Day in Savannah" was a definite step in the right direction but lacked the polishing that Kasee desired. After being in the band for a year Chad left to pursue a band that would fit his style more, and
Kasee started to look for new members, Chad's twin brother played guitar and was intrested in the same styles of music, so he promptly joined up. And after several lineups later Tony Dann joined on bass. They decided to expand to having a live drummer and tried out several drummers. They found Ryan Biller as they were in the middle of recording "More Songs about Drinking and Depression (EP)" (March 2002), and they have had the same lineup since. |
