Artist History It's a new millennium, which means it's time to do a new thing!!!D.J. Curly has been involved in the music industry since 1987, releasing his first single with fellow rap artist Deshay (former D.J. for Vanilla Ice). In 1991, the two signed to a major label (Tabu/A&M) & enjoyed a little national recognition, opening for acts like Kris Kross, Ice Cube, Cherrelle & others. After lending his vocal talents to several successful local projects, Curly released his solo CD ("Big Big Love", Nino Records, 1997). At the time of recording this project, Curly was involved in a tragic car accident. What seem to be a tragedy, God used as a triumph in Curly's life. After extensive surgery & rehabilitation, Curly made a commitment to use his talents to spread the message of God's love. He released his first Gospel CD, "transformation-Rom. 12:2", & is currently working on his 2nd CD, as well as a Gospel rap project called "Christside Ridas". Be on the lookout....
