Artist description
AGFF is not a band. Nor a single person. Nor a musical artist at all. AGFF is a concept: bring several dozen people of differing ages, religions, nationalities, races, genders (even aside from the primary two!), and interests to one Usenet newsgroup over the period of a decade, and see what happens as they come and go, lurk, post, troll, flame, and win their way into your hearts. Artist History
AGFF, or alt.games.final-fantasy, for you longwinded types, was created in around 1995. It was a mostly on-topic (that being the console role-playing game series Final Fantasy) until 1997, when it experienced a renaissance, a golden age if you will, of humor, wit, and satire. Or, to look at it another way, it turned into a huge off-topic mess. In any event, it has continued to mutate ever since, and the only thing predictable about it is that the post count is ALWAYS high. If you brave the ng, please be warned: do not ask why we're not talking about Final Fantasy. That is all. |

Too many to list. Wayyyy too many. And even if I tried to, doubtless the people at the end of the list would start complaining about the elitism of the people at the start of the list! |
