Artist History Abraid began in 1999 with a group of individuals who wanted to express their thought through music. After a few lineup changes, and a year in time, the group has become so much more than what it was in the beginning. The emotional melodies, thundering riffs, and intellectual lyricism all blend together to form a beautifully shocking soundscape that would intrigue even the most pessimistic of critics. Preston Pickrell(drums) and Steve Ritchey(guitar) were two of the founding members, followed by Tom Burns(vocals), who after many attempts at finding the right niche, became a part of this collective. Mason Dixon(guitar) and Mark Anthony(bass), additions to the band after losing their formerly respective players, were finally found to complete this musical circle. Now all that stands in the way of this band from Murfreesboro, Tennessee is inside them. Prepare yourself for the awaking; prepare to become abraid.
