Artist History
too Much neon was born in 1995, when Stanford freshman Kim Coffey responded to a flyer that had been posted by classmate Danny Morrow. In their first year, they wrote many songs which now live in the dustbin of obscurity, as well as a few gems which continue to be a part of the tMn music library. A year passed, and Wendy Marinaccio joined, along with bassist Kelly. More songs were penned, and performances given, including a memorable March 8thperformance at Kimball hall, forever remembered astMn1. The next day, tMn went on to secure 3rd place in the Battle of the Bands, defeating Labross King in a last minute scurmish. Another year passed, and Kelly went off to Italy. After flirting around with many bassists, true love was found with John Cha, formally of Honeydew, another seminal Stanford band. More time passes, and better songs are written. More shows are given, Battles won and lost. And too Much neon continues to explore the boundaries of where their music can go. |
