Artist History
When I was nine years old I drew a picture of Africa on a piece of construction paper and taped it to the top of a Monopoly box. I hit the box loudly with pencils as I stomped down the stairs of our little house proclaiming that I just started my own band. I named it after the song "Africa" by Toto. They didn't end up to be one of my influences but I liked the song. I finally traded in that Monopoly box drum kit for a guitar when I was 17 and started a few real bands. I traveled, and played and worked...and ended up here in New York City. Nobody knows me here, so I have a long way to go I think. |
