Artist description Leave Uptown on Lake Street and keep driving. Cross France Avenue, Highway 100, and veer left at Minnetonka Boulevard. Turn right at the McDonald's and you've found St. Louis Park High School, home to a generation's worth of musical creativity cooked up in the Jazz Lab classes taught by Dr. Lance Strickland. On the St. Louis Park Music Coalition CD you can witness the results of that creativity: singer-songwriters like Dan Israel and Darin Goulet, hard rock from Andy Thomas, jazz, funk, emo-punk and more. The SLP CD is being mixed and will be available for purchase in February of 2001. All profits will go into a "Lance Strickland Music Education Fund" to support future music programs at St. Louis Park High School.
