Artist History Skinbag was stitched together after Brian & Dave found Jim through an ad placed in the San Diego Reader. After an agonizingly slow year of auditioning people claiming to be drummers, they finally found one: Jaron.Jaron heard some of the finished songs through a mutual friend, and liked what he heard. He provided the extra spark the band was looking for. He was asked to contribute musical ideas as well. He helped to re-arrange the material that was already written, as well as help write new material.Writing, recording, engineering, and playing it all themselves, the band's 6 song CD was done at their own studio, Sweatbag Studios. Many pounds were shed trying to get 8 analog tracks to sound as fat as possible (that's right, only 8 tracks!)
