Artist description Robbie T. is a well known musician on the local club scene in New York. As a bassist, and a solo performer, he has performed in some of the city's most prestigious clubs, including The Bottom Line, Webster Hall, and The China Club. Robbie has performed with former Rainbow/Deep Purple lead singer Joe Lynn Turner, as well as Godfrey Townsend and Steve Luongo of The John Entwistle Band. Robbie has toured with former Virgin Recording Artist, and current Ruf Records artist, Kevin Coyne for the US release of Sugar Candy Taxis(1999). The tour featured a live radio broadcast on Mountain Stage (public radio), and wound up finishing in Chicago at the famous Lounge Ax. In the summer of 2002, Robbie toured with phenom guitarist Matthew Curran (www.matthewcurran.com) in support of the Scorpions/Deep Purple US tour. The tour included stops at the Verizon Ampitheatres in North Carolina and Virginia Beach as well as the Merriweather Post Pavillion in MD, and the Tweeter Center in Massechucettes. The band also performed live on KRock radio in Raleigh North Carolina. He is currently involved with 4 different projects (Shauna McCoy, Joe McKenna, Jimmy Rupperto, and a collaborative of his own). When he can, in his spare time, Robbie likes to volunteer for various charities. He has done work for Music Cares and the Rhythm and Blues Foundation, and helped coordinate a Food and Supplies drive with Guitar Center after the attacks on 9/11. This is his first single as a solo artist, and "Every Day Should Be Christmas" at one point hit #15 on the mp3.com Holiday Play chart. The song has a wide mass appeal and Robbie hopes both songs on this site will be placed on compilation CD's as well as in the Movies. Rob is currently finishing up the writing for his first full length solo release "Living In Mono." He hopes to have it released by Summer 2003.
