Artist description
After spending the last couple years gigging endlessly throughout New England, the boys have developed a style all their own, best displayed on their new EP "Care Factor: Zero." Tracks like, "Idiot Me" and "Relapse" stand out as very well written tunes that play over and over again in your head. Minus's single, "First Stone Cast" has been receiving consistent college air-play and the band has been recognized by major radio stations as a front-runner in the area's music scene.Minus has shared the stage with many of the biggest metal bands to grace the East Coast. The list of bands reads like a major tour, with such names as Massachusetts's newest upstarts Reveille (Elektra), New York's hardcore kings, Biohazard (Mercury.) and OzzFest '99 performers like Drain STH (Mercury), Static X (Atlantic), and Puya (MCA).Minus has been described by C.M.J. Magazine as a ".post-apocalyptic groove-core motherf#@ker." and by The New Haven Advocate as ". melodically charged, intensely emotional hardcore." Minus's style appeals to a diverse crowd, as fans of all ages faithfully show their support. To say they take control of a crowd would be a harsh understatement. The energy that pours out of Minus is intense and has to be witnessed to truly be appreciated.Whether you like music that kicks your ass with immediate hardcore abandon, or trippy grooves that drench your mind like an infectious resin, Minus will deliver. |
