Artist description
If I had to apply a single label to my work, it would be quasi syntho- impressionist- classical with delusions of Claude Debussy. The vast majority of my music uses acoustic orchestration, with piano being the most prominent solo instrument. Many of the tracks here are improvisational in nature, which I find to be the most interesting branch of my work because when I start recording at the beginning of each piece I have no idea what directions the piece may explore or where it may end up. For the majority of my improvisational pieces, 98% of the notes you hear are exactly the way that they were played the first time through. While the tracks here are freely available for download, if you enjoy the music I would encourage you to purchase the CDs. They have a much longer shelf life than mp3s and make a good gift as well...especially if you know somebody that you think is stressed out. |

Artist History
A side note to the other musicians reading this: TAKE CARE OF YOUR HANDS. I injured both hands about seven years ago (carpal tunnel syndrome), and even with surgery and extensive physical therapy there was a real question as to whether or not the tendon damage would keep me from ever playing an instrument again. So be careful out there. |
