Artist History The Associates have been together for 6 years. They started off rapping under the name "$tr8 Baller$" but changed their name to "The Associates" about 2 years after the formation of the group. When they started rapping as the $tr8 Baller$ they had a third member named L'Marr (a.k.a $hort-E Tallz) but his membership within the group only lasted for about 2 or 3 years and then eventually he left the group because of creative differences.The Associates (Herm & Peek) have been associatedfor 6 years and they plan to keep rapping for manyyears to come. They have to CD's out on IHB Records.
