Press Reviews
this disk, containing seven garage-pop songs, is far from the works of "tricky woo", and even further from originality. with a no-talent drummer, and compositions lacking in (french slang about dogs) and melody.
some ideas are good, such as the addition of piano in "apple a day cafe", but the rest of the disk is not very stong. we see and hear so many bands like the burdocks in a year... most of them end up dissolving (suggestion?!?). i have, however, seen worse, we also notice a slight "sloan-esq" side very evident in "apple a day cafe" perhaps the most accessible track on the disk.-Monteal music magazine |
