Press Reviews "Our work can not be summarized by any singular tag or label. Areas of diverse yet interconnected chords are integrated into the T.A.G. Research project. If we were to use any singular term to describe T.A.G. we would employ the term devised by Michael Bertiaux, his neologism 'MEONTOLOGY'. Basically, ontology is the science of the metaphysics of being; meontology therefore goes beyond this to a science of parapsychology to a realm of measurable and controllable phenomenon. A 21st century technological, pataphysical Alfred Jarry, our work is a gradual experimental research program, investigating ideas by blending the esoteric knowledge of ancient control systems like magick in its profane sense with the 3-dimensional material of technology. We aim to illuminate and document our own and other peoples works in this area. In terms of sound, we are trying to approximate and create the frequencies that affect the being in a physiological and meontological sense. T.A.G.Research aims to utilize these new frontiers of knowledge and blend them with further experiments from diverse yet connected parallels, so we can esoterically engineer a new morphology."These recordings were originally released on Side Effects Records, July 1988. From the beginning the intention was to present these recordings in a digital format. Limitations imposed by the frequency range of analog/vinyl formats prevented the full audible and indeed physical range of sound originally recorded, so lessening the desired effects. Now the spectrum is open and the full density of information is presented, as originally committed to the digital masters. This recording is the sum of a project that began in December 1986. Techniques devised at that stage have now been developed and applied to computer aided technology in both the production and construction of these recordings. On site recordings were made in Berlin and London, and later processed in the research laboratory of TAGC, England, May 1988.
