Artist description
The endless distances of cold and inhospitable space wilderness…there are new rulers there. Calculating and emotionaless robots. They rule over their former creators, who are nothing but the new slaves now…people. These dark and not so much futuristic visions are the main model for bizarre lyrics of DARK GAMBALLE (formerly known just as DARK). History and developtment of this band are very changeable. The first album "Sex´n´Death" worshiped the raw death metal spirit. But two following records ("Zyezn Gamballe And The Mental World + "Under The Bottom") showed and predicted next remarkable things. DARK GAMBALLE started to experiment with flute, female vocal and - first of all - with various strange sounds and noises. These experimental flirts finished finally in the second half of nineties as marriage with modern technological machines and equipments. The band didn´t hesitate to use them and that´s the whole story how they´ve gradually created their own style. Psycho-cyber metal that is built with aggressive guitars, mechanically (robotically?) exact rhythmic, variable sounding keyboards and samples, cold atmospheres made by flute and the perfect De Sed´s alias 10´s vocal equilibristic. Just try to play albums "Gamballe" or the actual "Robotory" to some spacemen shortly before the flight…they won´t be perhaps willing to fly away. In spite of all chilling and unhappy futural prophecies the fans like creation of Dark Gamballe and the same thing is valid for their live shows which are raw and brutal as hell. You know - what won´t kill us make us stronger. And - in addition - who of you doesn´t sometimes like to be afraid? |
