Artist History BRAINDEAD SOUNDMACHINE operates out of a dormant wind tunnel on the Morgan Salt Flats, East of China Lake Air Force Base in the Mojave Desert. The facility also featured a natural hotspring, a small cafeteria, and a sculpture garden consisting of welded early 70s muscle cars. The wind tunnels themselves (now defunct) were modified band members promoted the wind tunnels as a point of interest for travelers on the way to nearby Death Valley.
