Artist History
Amy has always been destined to sing. Starting at age three, singing in church, she knew this is what she was meant to do. She dedicated her life to making music that not only others would love, but would also glorify God. Growing up in Fort Worth, TX, she won numerous awards in music, including being voted Most Talented in her high school class. She performed her first concert at a church in Hannibal, Missouri at age 16. She returned the following year to perform at Hannibal Le Grange College. After graduating high school, she decided to move to Nashville to continue pursuit of her dream. Amy quickly found work as a studio demo singer for Waco Productions, a studio owned by Tommy Spurlock, a member of the original award-winning band, Highway 101. This led to more demo work with various other songwriters. While in Nashville, Amy trained with Yuvitta Giles, who has worked with several major artists including Bryan White. Now back in Texas, she is well known on numerous Internet sites, such as Mp3.com and IUMA.com. Her official site is www.AmyChristine.com. She also has songs from her new upcoming album, “If Only In My Dreams”, receiving airplay in Australia, The Netherlands, Sweden, and New Zealand. The song, “White Lies, Red Roses” from the same album was chosen as one of the Top 10 songs in Texas from independent artists. It is to be released by 99.5 FM on a compilation CD in November 2000. Amy is extremely excited about her music and thrilled to be given the chance to follow her dream! |
