Artist description
Big, noisy, heavy power trio featuring driving guitar, machinegun thunder drumming, and fat chewy bass.
Sure it's easy to put a new face on the map by comparing them to this and that who already are there. Unfortunately, ALTA MAY do such as to make way for a sound that might cause one to listen up and shut up with the analogy.
Imagine heavy indie rock with a punk ethic that isn't afraid to work with a melody. With that idea, you're only mid-way there. To fully appreciate the fuzzy, driving, harmonious, thick and downright tasty music these three guys from Seattle create is only fair to be experienced. Song after song, they integrate methods begat by Northwestern bands of yore into head-butting, swaying and sweaty treats for the ear and your cracking speakers." |

Artist History
Formed in 1999, Garrett, Erik and Marcus have been honing their talents into a tightrope of rock agility, which is now ready to be dealt with and appreciated. Already their supersonics has gotten them to play with such venerable acts such as Mudhoney, Love Battery and Russell Simmons just to name a few. With the release and success of "We As In Us", on Columbus, OH's own Glazed Records, they will hit the road and blow minds in a theatre near you.
Until then, grab hold of your conventions and a tall cold one, because ALTA MAY is on its way to ruin what you know and primed to be that next CD that never leaves your car."
