Artist description
...Two country boys raised in the Oregon outback, reveled in the spirit of the high and lonesome tundra, the vast lands of solitude. Left their homes at seventeen, only to travel from town to town collecting souvenirs of heartbreak and longing. The open road is salvation from conflict left behind, a reoccurring theme in a rock n' roll collage of imagery and undertone. Dirty Deeds don't go unpunished. Pushed by disenchantment, shoved by circumstance and joined by a like mind, the third founding member adds a solid foundation to a burning house. Powered by a dusty guitar, laced with reverb, backed by rolling and tumbling bass lines, accented by stark percussion and painted with lyric and verse. Gritty Blues, Lethargic Country and Classic-sounding Rock 'n Roll are.. The band as it presently exists, was formed in Sacramento, California, where we played from the Bay area to the Gold Country hills. After our Exodus from California, we are presently living on the Oregon, Idaho border, where we are honing our skills in the back country road houses of any town, main street, anywhere USA. We have been working hard to pay for our first record, self titled, self produced, self underwritten, The Static Street Idlers. In this experiment of young and yes, rough talent, we express. |
