Artist History
Songwriter Scott Harrell originally played with bassist George Mesnier in Tampa's much-ballyhooed pop quartet Joey Sunshine Band, before going on to put in some time with St. Pete pop favorites Spiller. Drummer Joe Going, formerly of Tampa's Baby Igloo, agreed to help Scott record some tunes as a one-off, and enjoyed the songs so much he convinced Scott and George to keep things going. In May of 1999, after two tours and several home-recorded releases, statewide music magazine Jam named Cocktail Honeys Best Modern Rock Band in Florida. |
