Artist description
This lineup presently consists of two guitarists, who trade leads and rhythms very well together, and a bassist (who I must confess has to take a lead or two himself sometimes). All three members sing. We're currently drummerless, but we're looking... This lineup is now defunct being that I, the bassist, have moved. I'm working my way toward Phoenix, AZ. Meanwhile I've begun a new project, Die Cast Willie (which will soon have stuff here on mp3.com) as well as a special project called Willie's Cohort, which is an effort to get together with other musicians online and record projects via the web (there's a link to the Cohort site at right...). Three Jammin is presently hosting a weekly open mic at Wing Daddy's in Savannah billed as The Fez (I think). The Drummer and Keyboardist from another local band, Disciples of Your have been doing it with them to great success. The open mic has been doing extremely well, with a great turnout of local musicians and there is always a plethora of great music to be heard. |

Artist History
Dan (guitar) and I (Mike, bass) have been playing together for a little over 2 years now. We've worked together on a few different projects, including a couple of different recording ventures and the ill-fated quintet, Watered Down, which played around Savannah, GA. We met Rusty (you guessed it, the other guitar) a few weeks ago and got together and jammed (there's a new one). We've only played together a few times now, but we hit it off musically immediately. We all have similar/complimentary influences, styles, and ideas. We all love to improvise, and follow each other naturally. It also seems that Rusty is as serious about making music as Dan and I are, so I think the outlook is good.We started recording our jams the second time we got together for fun, nostalgia, and a great creative tool. I plan to keep everything that I think sounds good, and I'll regularly post stuff on here for your enjoyment and (gentle) criticism. So if you're interested this is a good opportunity to see (hear, I guess) the evolution of a band right from the start. From us to you, we hope you enjoy. |
