Artist description
Symposium is an original instrumental jazz ensemble, formed in 1989 in Sacramento, California. Their infectious music has been heard around the world, from the small clubs of Sacramento to the jam packed concert halls of Japan. Their unique style and sound can be traced to the individual influences each of the musicians has on the whole of their music, which can be described as a blend of jazz, rock, latin, soul, and funk. |

Artist History
After playing in cover bands for many years, keyboardist Robert Monteleone Eberhard decided to put an all original band together, and Symposium was born. The band has played with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Richard Elliott, Pieces of A Dream, and many others over the years. You really need to see the band live to fully appreciate their music. |
