Artist description Strange Dayz was formed using musicians of varying backgrounds in hopes of establishing a sound based on originality and depth as well as remaining true to the roots of rock from which we all come. The result has been a style of music that is heavy, but always textured and melodic and can only (and very loosely) be classified as modern rock. Whether thought to be alternative, metal, or just plain old rock & roll remains entirely up to the opinion of the listener.The band members have been influenced by artists that range all the way from Led Zeppelin, UFO and Black Sabbath to Metallica, Bush, Sound Garden and Alice in Chains, through even more unexpected influences such as Bon Jovi, Killing Joke and Garth Brooks.
