Artist History
At the age of 14, I was self taught on guitar and by the age of 16, I was composing and performing original songs. I continuously write songs based on the life experiences of myself, friends and family. Thanks to a local radio station, WCRS, Greenwood, SC, my following of local fans has continued to grow. WCRS has supported me and continues to play my songs on the radio. Above anything else, I am grateful to GOD for all that I have accomplished in life. I appreciate the opportunity to perform at benefits and other events in support of my community. One of the highlights of my life was several years ago at the annual Saluda County Tractor Pull. I performed my signature song, "Saluda County Tractor Pull", during the event. The pull was being filmed by Kentucky filmmakers following the American Puller Association circuit, completing a documentary-in-the-making. Over the years, I have performed at numerous places, such as, The Bowery, Myrtle Beach, SC where I was a special quest for one week to sing with David Alan Coe. Rascals, Augusta, GA where I performed with the Bud Moffet Band to open for Tracy Lawrence. In 1998, I won the local True Value/Jimmy Dean Country Showdown and went on in September, 1998 to compete in the North/South Carolina State Final. Even now at the age of 34, I continue to have a great ride with my music. I couldn't imagine my life without the ability to entertain. I absolutely love it! |
