Artist description GMAFF Productions is a humoristic Norwegian hihopband located in the small valley of Rjukan in Telemark county. All though they're located in such a desert area of Norway, they're also well known in other areas of Norway. They're a non-profit band and their only reason for performing is their desire for publicity and sick stage-performances.

Artist History The band was formed in 1998 by Helge Carlsen and Stein Michael Hansen. They experimented with hiphop-beats and amateur-lyrics for a while. Some months later a friend of them, Olav Haugan, voulenteered to remix one of their earliest tracks, It's raining again. It was never finished, but Olav became the leader of the band known as Grandmaster Ariske Fittefaen. They started producing a lot of songs. Not only hiphop, but also some jungle, dance and heavy. Their first performance was at a schoolparty. Due to rotten monitorsound and bad memory the gig was miserable, but they didn't give up. Since february '99 they've performed at about 10 gigs and are still popular among the youngsters of Rjukan. Their first album, Milandium, was released early in 2000 and have becomed a great local success competing with artists like Jerzey Milotski, Olagjengen and Rupert Derben.

MC Dawn Defender - Vocals, music Born in 1981. Is graduating from high school this spring (March 2000) and will study TV-journalism in Drammen next semester. Stein Michael Hansen a.k.a. DJ ShockRock - Music, vocals Born in 1981. Is graduating from high school this spring (March 2000) and will study TV-journalism in Stavanger next semester.
