Artist History One night way back when, Risbo was invited to lay some vocals over a few reggae grooves in the basement of a club on the north side of Chicago. Six hours later a seven inch dub plate was recorded and Risbo’s musical career was set in motion. Musically Risbo incorporates his Jamaican and American upbringing to create a style that is inviting, energetic ,moving and uniquely his own. His residence may be local but his sound is international. His influences and teachers are Papa San, Tony Rebel and the great Robert Nesta Marley. "To me reggae music is the greatest sound in the world and without it I am incomplete."
