Artist description The "band" consists of a single carbon-base unit that will occaisionally answer to the name "Gene", and several silicon based life forms which have various names usually consisting (for some odd reason) of combinations of letters and numbers all of which is unpronounceable. We've been together for several years and have learned to tolerate each other quite well. The carbon-base unit known as "Gene" tends to support the others by doing a terribly dull thing called "Management" for a large telecomunications company with lots of other carbon-based units.

Music Style Eclectic, odd combinations of electronica, and more traditional music types. Even the occaisional Classical peice!

Musical Influences Mike Oldfield, Yes, ELP, Igor Stravinski, Steve Reich, Cars, George Clinton.

Similar Artists Oh geez, you've got to be kidding. Maybe occaisionally Mike Oldfield on a good day (for me).

Artist History The band started out as "Gene" and an ancient, unnamed, upright piano (carbon-based, though celluloidly fiberous). Later "Gene" travelled to the East (of North Carolina) with "DX7" and "MMT8". Later "U110" and "X5DR" joined (actually added). The latest addition is "PC88". Interesting conceptual idea of "software" has been contributing as of late, and they have more pronouncable names, like "ACID Pro 2" and "Cakewalk".
