Artist History
Twilight Machine was formed in September of 1996 by keyboardist / vocalist Jon Replogle and guitarist Matt Bendel, music theory classmates at the University of Pittsburgh. Joining them were bassist Justin Bendel and drummer Steve Dusenberry. In early 1997, bassist Jason Vey joined the group, completing the lineup which would appear on Twilight Machine's debut album Behind The Puzzle, released in early 1998 by the now-defunct AFM Records. Following an extended hiatus, the band regrouped during mid-1999 with the new rhythm section of bassist Ben Bond and drummer Ryan Rehonic. Unfortunately, Ryan was sropped due to personal differences. Jack Brant, a local ex-drum teacher, was recruited. The group has recently played shows opening for progressive groups such as Discipline and Yes tribute band Envision. They recently completed a demo of new material and hope to record a new album in the near future. |
