Artist description
Smidgen is a three piece band dedicated to making "feel-good" pop. Brian Thibodeau plays guitar and sings, and Geoff Howe plays guitar and bass and sings as well. The latest addition to the band, Al Howe, is Geoff's brother and he plays keyboards. Together they write their own songs...songs filled with a feeling of pop innocence almost non-existent in today's Top 40 material. |

Artist History
One of the first things one notices about Geoff Howe and Brian Thibodeau of Smidgen is their sense of humour. They try to milk a joke out of everything, even the story about how they met during a high school production of "The Death And Life Of Sneaky Fitch", in which Geoff played the title role : "I met Geoff when he was sneaky", says Brian, keeping a deadpan face as he waits for the joke to sink in. Geoff and Brian began writing and performing music together two years ago at their high school's annual "Christmas Show". Their nice harmonies, great songwriting skills, and tender ballads made them mini celebrities in their school(especially with the girls!). Even with this small amout of fame, they don't let their egos get the better of them. Says Geoff : "We have the greatest fans. We don't get big-headed about whatwe do, because we do it for the fans." Smidgen has just finished recording their first CD, "In Step". |
