Artist History Bruce Johnson, acoustic guitar player and Danny Attoh, lead guitarist started playing bookstores and charity gigs for fun. After two or three years, they were invited to a jam session and met Greg Baker, a sometimes bass player. That was the start of this trio called Second Wind. The group played mostly cover tunes but now have added several origional instumentals and vocals to their song list. Second Wind can be seen and heard around Charlotte and the surrounding area.

Group Members Danny Attoh: Lead Guitar and Synthesizer Danny can play anything that he has heard. He's always a hit at jam sessions and parties where everyone thinks that he knows every song that was ever written. Well, he doesn't. He just figures out the tune on the spot and lays down some beautiful fills and embellishments as he goes along. Since he got his synthesizer, Second Wind not only has a lead guitar but flutes, violins, horns and a few things they can't identify. It's all part of the fun. It's always a pleasure to listen to Danny! ####### Bruce Johnson: Vocals, Rhythm Guitar and Rhythm Machine Bruce started playing guitar in the early 70's and got "good enough to entertain himself". Later in life he decided that if he was ever going to make his mark in music he'd have to start playing more and meeting more musicians like Danny. They formed Bruce & Danny a few years back and this grew into the band as it's known today. Bruce plays both electric and acoustic guitar. But ever since he got his Taylor acoustic, you can't pry it out of his hands. ####### Greg Baker: Harmony Vocals, Bass Guitar, Sound Man and Recording Engineer. Greg has a long musical history. He worked his way through college playing the saxaphone and made several tapes with his brother as the Baker Brothers. He joined the band after he jammed with Bruce and Danny at a party and brings a clean and mean bass line to the band's music. His vocal harmonies add beatuiful layer to the sound of the band. "We'd like him even if he didn't have so much sound equipment and sound man knowledge" says Bruce. Greg has recently gone Digital for his recording duties. This gives the band great flexibilies in mastering and publishing.
