Artist description
Music, technology, sociology, psychology and the
fusion of different cultures have all come together in San Francisco, Sean Abreu's home.
Composer Sean Abreu brings many of the above
mentioned fields together to drum up inspiration
for his music. He also brings, with all instruments he plays ,a passion to his work
through performance. His compositions are
arranged with an array of acoustic and live
instruments from around Asia along with a wide scope of various digital and analog electronics.
Sean can play the piano, guitar, bass, drums,
flute, mandolin, recorder, Guzheng, San Xian, Xiao
as well as the dumbek, djembe and congas.
He has equal passion for sounds, programing and
sampling a majority of his sounds from scratch
for his work, he has amassed a huge collection
of custom samples and sounds.
