Artist History
LMNO started in the summer of 1997, a union of leaders from three different bands. Krayg Bartley formerly of Deprived, is a lightning bolt of energy, whose atmospheric keyboard insanity, and melodic vocal ability make you question reality. Guitarist Ben Justus's homespun technique of slammin heavy-to wacked out funk adds dimensions to the bands aura. Bassist Tim Fuller formerly of Puppet and Drummer Matt Van Kersen formerly of Birdman of Alcatraz, Virgil, Transgression, give new definition to the word rhythm section. Kicking it down with the punchy slap lines to the tight heavy-funk grooves. |

Press Reviews
David Lindquist from the Indianapolis Star says, "By forging a truly unique sound in the day of ridgid genres, Indianapolis quartet LMNO has chosen a difficult route to travel. The Cosm--a sci-fi and all encompassing album title fits these seven songs. Metal, funk, exotic eastern, prog-rock, hardcore-punk and jam band elements are blended into deep dense grooves that aren't easily penetrated." Steve Hammer from the Nuvo Newsweekly says, "LMNO not only rocks harder than an F5 tornado they provide alot of food for thought along the way." Tanzania Cannon from the IUPUI Sagamore said, "The members enter and exit every tune with confidence. The bands music is consuming, and audiences leave the show as mentally and physically exhausted as the performers. "Micheal Allison from the globalmuse.com said, "Your'e never bored with this music, because you never know what to expect. The music holds no boundaries except for the fact that it's heavy and dark." |
