Press Reviews
Want to know DFW's best kept secret? It's the metallic fury known as Heretofore. On more than one occasion during the band's hour-long set, we thought the roof would cave in on the Sand Bar from the crowd's energy. Vocalist/guitarist Brett Allen...bassist Derek L. Rush and drummer Joe Taylor stirred up the big crowd with tunes like "Justified Homicide,"..."Afterthought," the blistering "Clowns Of Injustice," the madness of "Meatgrinder" and the highlight song, "Each Day...This Cross." Also included was a tasty cover of the Beatles classic "Hard Day's Night." If this band can't get you going, you must be either deaf, dumb or dead! (Kevin White) - July 1999 Harder Beat Magazine |
