Artist description GLB's Music combines modern groove, melodies and hard rock power. GLB's songs are all original. They employ an eerie vocal front that is somewhat reminiscent of Jim Morrison or Godsmack which you cannot deny gives you the chills. You might find yourself waking up humming the tunes!! The lyrics are a constant twist and play on words that keep you wondering exactly where the metaphor lies. Listen to it loud! Like most people, the members of GREEN LOWRIDER BIKE enjoy a wide variety of musical styles. Their composition of original music involves an extended use of dynamic, melodic and rhythmic contrast within songs. They play a number of hard rocking songs and a few ballads to slow things down once and a while. All of their music is energetic. Their stage performance reflects the fun loving and crowd-appreciative nature of the band. The excellent musicianship and songwriting insure a welcome reception by first time listeners.

Artist History Bob Urtz and Chris Gabriel formed Green Lowrider Bike in 1996 as the 'Mock Foundation.' The songs on this featured CD 'Cruzin The Strip' were recorded with Adam Mitchum on bass and Charlie Durando on drums. GLB originally recorded most of these early songs with a drum machine. When friends encouraged them to start a band, they set out to find a rhythm section. After working for a few months with a drummer named Renzo, they found Charlie Durando and recorded this CD "Cruzin The Strip". (1998-2000). They also after 2000 worked with a drummer named Chevy (Tenement Rocks and Black Propeller). This CD reflects the hard rocking side of the band.
