Artist description
Out of nowhere True Rumour appears on the horizon like the sun brightening up a dreary day. Contemplative and soul searching lyrics combined with what's been dubbed as an "alternative folk" sound is the driving force and inspiration behind our music. |

Artist History
True Rumour consists of songwriter/musician George D. Cummings and the inimitable vocal talents of Leslie Berra and Kirst McCleary, who met while working together on a live musical production performing in the bedroom community of Santa Clarita, CA (about 40 miles north of Los Angeles). Cummings had been performing acoustic originals at local coffee houses and producing sound scores and design for live theater when he approached Berra with the possibility of working together. Berra had also been performing music for many years, developing her lilting, yet powerful vocal style along the way. McCleary has performed in various productions and has recorded with the Vibe Studio and is working on her own holiday CD. The three hit it off immediately and eventually developed their unique vocal and musical style which has culminated in what will be their first independent release "Ordinary World". True Rumour is currently performing and recording music for their upcoming full length CD. |
