Edison with the Weather *check it out* Edison with the Weather features Dave Sherman (vocals, keys),Dan Grennes (bass, vocals), Andy Sanesi (drums), Paulo Pimenta (guitar), Brad Mason (Trumpet), & Elliot Mason (Bass Trumpet/ Trombone) *Disc Maker’s (America’s #1 Manufacturer for the Independent Music Industry) chose the band as one of the best indie acts in NYC over 1000 entrants. The group competed for $25,000 in prizes in Disc Maker’s Independent World Series? The group was selected to perform at 1996’s Philadelphia Music Conference.* Radio station WVIA in Scranton PA featured the band on their Homegrown Music Live Concert Series, July 15, 1998.? Band leader Dave Sherman has performed with Waldo Weathers (James Brown’s former tenor sax player) and Nashville session guitarist, Danny Parks. He also played for Kami Lyle (a Hugh Padgham produced MCA recording artist).* The group’s Australian guitarist from their first CD, Ben Butler, has performed and recorded with top Aussie acts including Jimmy Barnes, INXS’ Garry Gary Beers and Jon Farriss, and JVC recording group Special EFX *Special guests on their new CD, Big Bang Theory include Danny Sadownick - percussion (Steely Dan, Screaming Headless Torsos, M'chelle N'degeocello, Chaka Kaan, Billy Idol); Bryan Steele - Tenor Sax (NYC Label recording artist); Brad Mason - Trumpet (British cat); Elliot Mason - Trombone (another Brit –he won a country - wide competition, and was presented a new Trombone by Prince Charles).*Big Bang Theory was mixed and engineered by Prince E.Strickland III (Adam Youck, The The, De La Soul).*The Off-Broadway musical "She's Out of Line" will feature the music of Edison with the Weather along with 6 of New York's top female tap dancers.
