Artist History
Guitarist Mike Garrett founded DEVOLUTION, & after releasing their debut CD, "Cerebrequiem," Mike decided to experiment with fusing his death metal guitar style with other influences acquired throughout the years, including techno grooves & gothic orchestral sounds. Vast amounts of hallucinogenics were ingested during the composition of the CD, & Mike experienced several schizophrenically psychedelic episodes, culminating in the birth of his alter ego, MYKILL MAYHEM, a hideous freak of synthetic mutation. The resulting CD was aptly entitled “Self – Made Monster,” the latest release from DEVOLUTION. |
