Artist History From the salt sounds of Nova Scotia comes Chris Larry. Hailing from the nation’s capital and a creature of the 90’s “Halifax Explosion”, Chris delivers the ultimate in the 3 minute pop song. Hints of Elliott Smith, Wings, and Crowded House abound in clever songwriting. Two acclaimed CD’s, a national tour, two videos on Much Music and a distribution deal with EMI Canada under Halifax’s Purple Helmets, Chris finished his east coast set by completing a national tour with EMI’s Sandbox before moving west. Chris has also played the stages of the East Coast Music Awards, North by North East, Canadian Music Week, and has even been invited to perform at the Melbourne Australia Pop Festival. Chris continues to write, and is presently working on an up-coming release.
