His influence from living near the border can be heard on such songs as "Fooling Around in the Dark", and "Tell Me". Where the combination of Spanish style guitar riffs and the haunting sound of a mariachi trumpet quickly describes his passion for his mexican-american culture. The title track "From Morning Sunrise" takes the listener to a different place in time. With its beautiful prelude "You're All I Ever Need", it prepares you and sets you in the mood for his passionate love ride.
