Artist History Asatru was formed by Rob Engvikson and Steve Kelly in the month of Horning, 2249 RE (1999 AD), they have been good friends since approx 2235 RE (1985 AD), and had been in a band together before Ásatrú. Both being massive Bathory fans they followed the Viking trail which led to Asatru. After a couple of line-up changes, Rob decided to carry on Ásatrú as a solo project, he is however seeking good musicians for live work.
