Artist History It's clear that Yusefafloat, born Byron Onassis Jackson, had a lot to say about life. Sef was artist in the fullest sense. He began to teach himself to play the guitar, drums, and organ at the tender age of 6. Writing and composing books, poems, and music. His career fully launched at 23 when he recorded his first album on Warner Brothers Records titled "World Ultimate" under the group name of The Nonce and pen name Yusefafloat. He was the integral part in the groundbreaking productions of the Hip-Hop anthem "Mixtapes", a phrase that has been coined and used throughout the Hip-Hop community and now part of pop culture. Yusef has done production and worked with the likes of Loose Ends' Jane Eugene, Carl Young of SpearHead, Freestyle Fellowship, Medusea, Ganja K, and Volume 10. He went on to make several classics including "Bus Stop" and "The Greatest MC's". Sef always had a giving nature and has touched many. He will truly be missed and his music will continue to live like his soul, forever. R.I.P.
