Artist History
The brainchild of percussionist-bassist-guitarist-writer Ben Isaacs (aka Professor Slap), the Slaptones were created in mid-'97. From then until 2000, the band mostly played instrumental songs at small clubs while dealing with numerous personel changes. In 2000, Arek Whitmyer (aka Sgt Slap) joined the group in a managerial capacity as the group was metamorphising into it's current form. We've become a multidimensional band ready to explode in 2001 and 02. |
